I want to hire a cleaning service. How do I find out about the price?
The price to clean your home, office, etc. is based on many factors. The estimate is free. The size of your home, the type of cleaning, and the frequency for cleaning are some of those factors.
What services do you provide?
We are able to do most cleaning and domestic-type work for offices, pubs, other similar businesses, houses and flats. This includes: Vacuuming, Mopping, Washing Up, Dusting, Ironing, Tidying, Changing Bed Linen, Kitchen Appliances,Bathroom Scrubbing ... and pretty much anything else you need cleaned!
Do I have to be present when your crew is doing the cleaning?
No, but we prefer you are present before we start the cleaning to show us if there are areas that need special attention. Our crew will precisely follow your instructions. We will leave your place only when our task is completed and if you are fully satisfied. Our goal is to please our clients. We can come either when you are at home or at work. The majority of our customers prefer to leave a set of keys with us or we can arrange a time for your cleaner to arrive when you are home.
How many people will be needed for cleaning?
Depending on the complexity of work; usually our crew is comprised of 2 to 4 people who work 5 to 8 hours per day.
Arrival Times
We try as much as possible to arrange start times as accurately as possible. Staff can sometimes be 15 minutes either side of the start time due to various reasons, see above, also traffic can play a part especially in the Summer season, if your day is going to be upset by this please let the office know and the staff will be advised, although most of the time it is out of their control.
If during the cleaning process any area is damaged, will I be fully compensated?
We did not have such problems before, but if any item in your house, office, etc. is damaged due to our cleaning efforts, you will be fully refunded. However, we cannot be held responsible for normal wear and tear or if an item breaks through no fault of the cleaner.
Our cleaners are prepared to meet all your needs -just tell us what you would like us to do and we will take care of it! However, concerning laundry: take some time to clearly explain how to use your washing machine. We would appreciate if you sort through your laundry to pull out any' dry-clean only' or 'hand wash' items. Also, please check the pockets of your garments for money, tickets or tissues. We are not a laundry service and we can therefore not be held accountable for any colour flood or item shrinkage. Please do ensure that you have fully briefed your cleaner if you wish them to do laundry for you.
I have never had a cleaner before. Is there anything more I should know?
Please show your cleaner both courtesy and respect. They are the wonderful people who will tidy your home, mop your floors and clean your loos. They will do their utmost to make sure that you are happy and pleased with their work. Do encourage your cleaner with positive feedback - it really will be appreciated. Some clients let their cleaner switch on the radio while cleaning - we all know from experience how dull a quiet house can be! To avoid any confusion, do talk this through with your cleaner. Let them know what they can and cannot do. As a tip, a happy cleaner listening to upbeat music will tend to work much faster than one without!
What happens if we are not happy with the cleaner?
We are here for you in any situation! If you think that the cleaner doesn't meet your expectation please give us a ring or simply email us and we will have a chat with them. We believe that everyone needs a second chance, but if on the second visit you are not satisfied then we will send a new cleaner and we make sure they do the job properly by supervising them.
Is the long term quality of service high?
We would like to make sure that we won't just impress you on the first visit and not care about the cleaning in the long run. We do supervise our staff as we understand that sometimes after a long period of cleaning they may clean with routine and they may not notice things that are important. In this case, we will visit your property while your cleaner is there and we will point out any undone job. Also don't forget that you can contact us any time with your comments.
Are your staff discreet?
Your cleaner is not only your cleaner - they are also your friend. Your privacy will be respected.
When do I have to pay for the services?
Payment must be made on the day the work is carried out either by cheque or cash (unless agreed beforehand). The payment will be picked up by the staff carrying out the work. Please if possible have the correct money on you if paying by cash as the staff do not carry a float with them.
Invoicing
In special circumstances arrangements can be made for invoicing work carried out, these should be paid on receipt of invoice, a 15% surcharge can be applied if not paid within 14 days of invoice date.
Ironing
If you require ironing please ensure you have an iron that works and an ironing board. Also please be aware the more ironing you have will lessen the time for cleaning, as it will only be one member of staff cleaning for the duration of the time taken ironing.
Vacuum cleaning
Staff are NOT issued with a vacuum cleaner. They will have their own cleaning products and cloths. Please ensure your vacuum cleaner is in working order and can do the job it is meant for.
Instructions
If there is anything different you may require from time to time, please leave a note for the staff and they will carry out your instructions as a priority, and then will continue cleaning as normal until the time is up. If special instructions are left please understand the time they will normally have will be cut down by the amount of time needed by your instructions.
